Dr Chioma Ohajunwa, senior lecturer

Dr Chioma Ohajunwa is a senior lecturer at the Africa Centre for HIV/Aids Management. Her work is in the areas of Indigenous knowledge, disability, spirituality, social determinants of health, decoloniality and postcoloniality, and their entanglement with HIV and Aids management in Africa. She is published locally and internationally, with ongoing local and international collaborations. Her wealth of experience in a South African and broader African context is invaluable to her role at the centre, where she is teaching and supervising students at all levels. Chioma aims to contribute to the rigorous, innovative, futures thinking trajectory of the Africa Centre as a team member, in alignment with the vision and mission of Stellenbosch University’s brand of excellence.
