Ms Teboho Mohloai

Teboho, a 2023 Africa Centre alumnus, is an advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and HIV/Aids and gender equality, with a special interest in adolescents and youth health and development. She has almost 10 years’ experience in youth capacity-building, mobilisation and training as well as process facilitation and coordination in development and advocacy. Teboho has proven experience of cultivating long-term relationships with stakeholders, representing African youth at national and international forums on SRHR, youth leadership and development, philanthropy and sustainable development, and actively contributing to impactful initiatives. She holds various volunteer leadership positions, including vice-chair of the Youth Initiative Committee of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) and outgoing secretary-general of the African Youth and Adolescents Network on Population and Development (AFRIYAN ESA). Teboho is the regional programme officer at SRHR Africa Trust (SAT).

“I am very passionate about all things youth. This appointment will allow me to influence the professionalisation of youth work and advance meaningful youth participation, engagement and leadership in the fight against HIV/Aids.”
