Rachel Muyamba joined the Africa Centre for HIV/Aids Management in 2024 as a junior lecturer. She holds a master’s of philosophy in health systems and services research from the Department of Global Health at the SU Faculty of Medicine. Her research focuses on HIV prevention, reducing stigma around tuberculosis and integrating mental health services into overall HIV and TB care. As lecturer, Rachel supervises students on their research projects and provides guidance on research proposals and ethics approval. She facilitates workshops and seminars on research skills, as well as conducting research on HIV prevention and health systems strengthening. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, participating in community activities, and spending quality time with her family, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
