The Africa Centre for Inclusive Health Management is dedicated to education, research and community engagement in health leadership and transformation. The programmes are rooted in management and the world of work. Over two decades, the centre has evolved to address the complexities of health ecosystems, integrating critical management theory and African knowledge systems into its approach.

The Africa Centre for Inclusive Health Management is part of Stellenbosch University, a premier and highly regarded institution of higher education in South Africa, Africa and beyond.

It is located in the Economic and Management Sciences Faculty, the largest faculty at Stellenbosh University.

The academic programmes are focused on the management of health and are therefore management science qualifications (not medical or health sciences).

The Africa Centre was established in 2000 and accepted its first postgraduate diploma students in 2001, therefore it is well-established and has been tried and tested.

Almost 5 000 PgDip students have been enrolled to date, with an 80% pass rate. Almost 70% of the students have been female.

The centre offers affordable yet highly competitive postgraduate diploma and MPhil academic programmes that are internationally recognised.

The multidisciplinary academic programmes are structured to suit and offer professional health and other practitioner students the flexibility they need to balance work, family and personal responsibilities.
