As academic coordinator, Anja plays a critical role in planning the academic year for the respective postgraduate programmes that the Africa Centre offers. She also manages the day-to-day academic operations. To Anja, engaging with new students every year is one of the highlights of her role; even more so is seeing the difference that completing the programmes makes in students’ lives and careers. Family and friends are Anja’s top priority outside of work. She also fosters kittens until they can find a suitable home.
